Marcia developed her unique style that is based on the transformation of her characters. Her versatility and range have been praised in films such as Millers Crossing, The First Wives Club Meet Joe Black, Mona Lisa Smile, The Hoax as well as Used People. The film in which she is scheduled to appear in is Fifty Shades of Grey. In the film, she plays Christian Grey's mum. This film will be released on Valentine's Day, 2015.
