Anita Barone

Anita Barone is a versatile stage actress who's mostly limited to TV sitcoms. Her first success in this genre in the year she got married to Jeff Foxworthy during "The Jeff Foxworthy Show," a series that aired on ABC between 1995 to 1996. Barone had her first appearance on stage when she was five in Detroit which is where she was born after moving with her family to the city from St Louis. She was in the stage for more than 50 shows by the age of 23, mostly for university productions and regional theatres. She played Juliet as Juliet in Romeo and Juliet, Helen Keller in a re-imagining of "Monday after the Miracle" and also the role in the role of Agnes the teen, tortured character in "Agnes of God." The actress made her screen debut through a brief appearance in "The The Rosary Murders" (1987) as well as an appearance as a character in "Ricochet" (1991) and landed a lead in the romantic comedy indie "Just Friends" (1996). However, her first Hollywood work of note was as a participant in the stock company for "Carol and Company" (NBC from 1990 to 1991) which was a disastrous plan made by Carol Burnett to revive the comedy variety program. Barone has also been featured in"Wounded Heart," a USA Network movie "Wounded Heart" in 1995. In the end, she got back to her routine of sitcoms on a weekly basis, starring alongside Michael Chiklis in "Daddio" (NBC 1999). Anita Anita Anita
